    Good Points

    A one click site for all your instant set up needs.


    Bad Points

    Billing department has faults.
    No technical support.
    Cannot acquire a domain name in the 5 day time limit they sent.


    General Comments

    Well I have previously been with Lycos and with no problems!

    This time I get a account with them for just web space but they took 7 days to get it up (they state 2 days) and it's not even fully working.

    So I scratched that idea and went with getting the whole bundle with them - domain name and webspace. I'm still waiting(been 9 days) I called them up and they have no idea on the progress of getting the domain name and its nowhere purchasing the domain name for me as I've checked for myself.

    Their accounting department are rubbish as when you try and pay it may or may not fail and is just pot luck (their words when I asked why it failed) so tried again(failed) tried again and success same card. Try and cancel and no luck so far.

    Sorry Lycos I really liked you but thumbs down.
