Trudi Canavan, The Black Magician Trilogy Review

I love Trudi Canavan! I discovered her through the Black Magician Trilogy. The books are wonderful to read, although I do think her books are more suited to women, rather than men. I love how she portrays Sonea as a humble, but very intelligent and powerful magician. And since Sonea's talents are not overly exposed in the course of the story, the few magical showdowns in the series become such a thrill to read. I do however find the ending anti-climactic. I kept hoping there was more to the story. I do hope there will be more adventures for Sonea. She is still too young to be written off from the face of the literary universe.
