Good Points

Smooth power with enough poop to take you up most anything you care to climb, no radiators to damage, and it doesn't overheat even when it's well over 100 degrees or when riding in slow tight stuff, it has plush suspension, and a bullet-proof motor that lasts and lasts.

Bad Points

A bit heavy, the stock bars and hand guards are whimpy, and the pegs are too small. Whoop sections quickly reveal that this is not a race bike. Fork springs are too soft for any body over 160 lbs. Comes jetted way too lean.

General Comments

I have set this bike up to fit me with taller bars, taller seat, larger pegs, heavier fork springs, and adding a fork brace made a huge difference. By opening up the intake on the airbox, changing the spark arrestor to the free flowing HRC unit from the early models, and changing out the main, and pilot jet as well as the needle made for crisper throttle response and increased boost overall. Disc protection and a skid plate are a good investment if you ride in rocks. For a non-race bike, I have yet to find anything that is as reliable and easy to ride.
