Fantastic handling, very rev happy engine, lots of aftermarket products, nice body shape, fantastic accelaration, nice interior.
Harsh ride, slightly thirsty on fuel also tend to use a bit of oil, factory fit tyres not very good - too hard.
Have loved the Honda Civic Type-R since I bought it in June 2006 if pushed hard enough in the VTEC will keep up with some cars you wouldn't expect it to. Handling is fantastic if you change to a slightly softer tyre. Sounds amazing when the VTEC comes in with the induction kit fitted and stainless exhaust. If your feeling a bit fed up you just go out in your Civic Type-R and you soon feel happy again. Mine just started to get a rattling noise on the engine from start up when cold and quits of after about 20 minutes. Although it doesn't always do this so its proving difficult to pinpoint the problem.
