Good Points

There were plenty of activities. Food was plentiful and was great family food. Excursions were, for the most part, well run. Tour guides were great. The Inside passage of Alaska was beautiful.

Bad Points

It seemed like *everything* cost extra. While this was pretty well explained before we boarded, many of the things that looked fun were just out of reach to a family. Case in point: The ship is advertised as having 2 pools plus a kids pool. Well, the kids' pool was exactly that, and the main pool was filled with kids as well. If you wanted to swim laps, you had to go to the spa were it was $15 a day to use the lap pool.

General Comments

I won't cruise again - at least not with NCL. From the daily "service charge" per person (just for being on the ship!) to the additional 15% auto gratuity (I wonder how much of that the staff actually sees), to the CONSTANT (and I'm not exaggerating) sales pitch from waiters to buy more drinks, it was a rather tiring experience.
