General Comments

We chose The Gift List at John Lewis as it was easy for people to use, and seemingly good value. However, we got married on June 16th last year, and we didn't receive all of our gifts until November, after 5 deliveries! The customer service team are utterly useless and helpless, with one team dealing with booking the deliveries and seemingly an external courier company organising the actual delivery. It was so embarrassing to have to tell our friends we still hadn't received the items they had bought for us. As if to exemplify why I will never recommend John Lewis, we had some vouchers left over from the wedding and used them to buy a washing machine last week. They've now failed to deliver it twice, with no explanation and no-one calling me back when I've complained. I've now asked for a refund, but surprise surprise, I've been told someone will have to call me back.

There is enough stress involved with planning a wedding, and John Lewis added to it!!
