Good Points

The rifle seems to be very well made, exc. stock and finish, exc. blueing job , very little recoil

Bad Points

mine is very pellet sensitive [maybe that is normal for most spring guns]

General Comments

I researched air rifles for several weeks before deciding on the RWS M94. The excellent reviews here on this site were a great deciding factor for the final decision.I am very well pleased with the overall quality of the rifle. The rifle is very pellet sensitive but after firing several hundred pellets I find the daisy max speed to be the the best for my rifle so far.I can easily shoot nickle size groups and sometimes better at 30 feet using a bench rest, and hoping that will get better as I get better.I am sure the gun is much more capable than I am.If you plan on using a scope be sure and get a good mount as the rifle has a place for the screw type scope stop which works great and you will probably need a stop of some type. This is only my second spring loaded rifle my first being a rm377 which I returned as it didn't have the quality I was looking for. What I don't understand is how one type pellet will group around a certain point and another pellet will group just as well but off to the left and high shooting at the very same point.I can understand the high and low but not 3 or 4 inches left or right of the same target point.Maybe one of you could answer this question for me.As I mentioned before I am very well pleased and would make the same decision again knowing what I know now after having it for a few days now.

Most springer guns dont shoot all pellets well, and don't even try the light ones,(max speeds) they are for the 350fps pump guns, stick to the 7.9 gr and higher. As long as you get one to group, you can adjust the sights for impact

Well the reason for your pellets grouping in one place then another pellet type grouping in another is because simply they are diffrent pellets. I mean your gun has not been sighted in for that paticular pellet so it is going to shoot off a ways becase it is diffrent from your sighted in. Your best results would be to find the pellets that groups well and stick with that one for everything unless you know you want to use another pellet.

I have trouble doing this because I like to hunt birds and squirrels at the same time. For Squirrely I use JSB Exacts which are a domed pellet because the squirrel needs extra penetration and pellets weight than birds. For birdies I prefer Daisy Max Speed wadcutters because I dont need to bust through a skull, all I have to is get that flat head in the chest or neck of the bird and it expands nicely. On squirrels I need to make it thorugh the skull for a clean kill.

    Well good hunting
