Good Points

I bought this while on holiday in Florida for $565 with a 1Gb SD card & an extra battery nearly $200 less than the shops advertised price for the 3 items. The camera is simple to use but battery life is nowhere near what you expect with the 3 hour battery lasting a little over 100 minutes. If you expect to take still shots with this forget it unless you want to use them for a PC screensaver or background, or something similar.
The GZ-MG130u will take up to a 4Gb SD card so the more of them you carry the longer you can record for (if you have the batteries as well)


Bad Points

The only bad point is the still camera 640 * 480 I would have expected a 1 or 2 megapixel still camera


General Comments

Overall this is a great camera for video but not for stills although the 30Gb HD will record 37 hours at the lowest quality.
