Good Points

Very economical (60+ mpg on motorway trips) comfortable, good lights and fairing. Very stable at speed. Good storage space.

Bad Points

Choppy ride on poor surfaces, quite heavy and tricky to ride slowly around tight bends and roundabouts. Transmission sometimes very noisy and harsh despite fitting Polini Clutch (new belt may help apparently but it looks OK to me). Alarming recent rise in oil level which would suggest the fuel is mixing with the oil! Very little information available about reliability in the long term (I think the engine may expire if it keeps filling up with fuel), but I have got a workshop manual.

General Comments

The Aprilia Atlantic is a nice bike and pleasant to ride, but flawed in some key areas. Avoid unless you like tinkering with auto transmissions and acres of plastic to do any repairs!
