good rates, easy to use
Staff not knowledgeable enough, accounts details do not seem to have a sort code & 8 digit number so you cannot make a transfer from the "outside"
A Review of Bradford and Bingley Internet Banking www.bradford-bingley.co.uk
I have got an eISA (which is no longer available to new clients) with a good rate of interest 6.05% AER as at 29/07/07.
That ISA was transferred from HSBC which stopped being competitive.
Internet security could be better by having some sign-on details entered with the mouse (like ING/Nationwide/CAHOOT) rather than typing the whole of the password.
Instructions could be clearer when paying money in (the date chosen for a transfer is the date when the money will be taken out of your linked account, not the date when the money will reach your account as indicated).
I was unable to get an proper answer when I asked if I could apply to another fixed rate ISA (for the current year subscription only) and have it merge with my eISA at the end of the fixed rate period rather than having it go into a "basic" ISA which does not have the same good rate.
