They were so rude to me before I even entered into contract with them, that I fortunately didn't waste time or money on them.

General Comments

Two negative instances occurred:

1. In the past I had tried to email this franchise about rate information. I was very specific with my questions. They replied with a vague email and told me to make an appointment or stop by. When I "called them out" on the fact they did not answer any of my questions or even acknowledge that I was looking for specific information, they replied with a "it's our policy not to give out rate information over email and most gyms won't". Perhaps not over email, but I had received rate information from other gyms over the phone, so this claim wasn't completely true.

2. A few weeks(?) (or months?) later I receive a flyer in the mail from them with rate information that seemed acceptable so I called for more info (they're are always hidden fees and such). When I called, someone answered the phone so I explained what I was calling about. They put me on hold, then answered again. So I explained what I was calling about. They put me on hold a second time. Again, the same person picked up the phone and asked me what I wanted like he hadn't just spoken to me twice already. I politely told him never mind, I'd call back later and hung up. Then they called me back on my number, which I hadn't yet given to them and therefore they didn't have permission to call me on. They tried to resume the conversation and I told them that I had tried to explain myself twice and the third time gave up because they didn't seem to be able to hear me. They claimed that I was rude in hanging up on them and that I hadn't politely informed them that I would call back later before I hung up the first time... then they hung up on me! When I called to speak to the manager, it turns out HE was the one being rude.

Do they treat all their "future" customer's this way? I passed my complaint on to the company headquarters, but big companies like that don't usually care about rudeness or customer service... only the things they can get sued over.

I hope my post saves you the trouble of dealing with them.
