Great looking Freezer
AEG as a company are awful, their service people Service Force are just as bad and this Freezer was the pits!
Well, I purchased this freezer (as well as the awful fridge SANTO 3688 please refer to my separate review) three years ago, and since day one the digital panel has been playing up. The noise from this unit is terrible, and the excuses I have received after a number of engineer visits is that AEG know of this problem and as per their instruction manual it's the cooling fluid flowing around the unit that is making the noise, it is normal!! Nothing with AEG or Service Force is normal. Speaking to what feels like the complete service team on individual occasions, it really feels like you are speaking another language. With the time you are put on hold it seems like they have a lot of complaints, but my produce in the freezer has defrosted so many time it's not even worth claiming on the insurance. They just don't seem to care and I get the feeling that they know about the digital panel problem, it just has a mind of it's own and does what it wants, freezers at -22c then you look the next day and it's a small zero, which means it has a problem - like I don't know that. Would recommending steering clear of AEG, their service people and all AEG refrigeration products, look great work awful....good luck if you have already purchased one??
