I am a 15 handicap player who has always struggled with consistency off the tee. Since I bought my Callaway FTi I am hitting the ball straighter and longer and getting the ball in play far more often. It has given me tremendous confidence off the tee and I am knocking 4-5 shots off each round. I even find that off center hits go much straighter and there is less of a tendency for the ball to 'slice'.
I have the 10 degree, stiff shaft, draw which I find I hit better than the regular shaft even though I don't have a very fast swing speed.
I have heard criticism about the sound, but I do not find the sound particularly offensive, compared with some of the other square drivers.
I would recommend giving this club a try particularly if you have problems off the tee.
