Good Points

I was worried the hotel would be awful after reading some reviews but it wasn't. Pool cleaned every morning and evening, staff friendly enough, room spacious. We stayed on the 9th floor and over looked the pool which was lovely. It was so close to the main strip and beach, say 3 minutes walk. The beach was beautiful although the first few days the waves were too big to get in.


Bad Points

There was no bad points. Ok the furniture is dated but it is strong so that's ok.
One point but not about the hotel is all the supermarkets in the area. Don't think there food is cheap as it isn't they only sell known brands at dear prices. It would have been cheaper to go half board.


General Comments

I would recommend this hotel as it is cheap and well worth what you pay. It does not deserve some of the reviews it has had although maybe they have improved after bad publicity.
We went as a family of four. Two adults and two kids. We didn't eat in hotel as went out to eat out. There was some good places to eat, one was called the sitting bull; try it there is a great menu. We also didn't stop in for the entertainment as we tend to like to go to pubs at the beach rather than stay in pubs for entertainment.
It wasn't school hols when we went so the hotel will be busier at school holidays though I think you will still be ok.
One last thing to say lucky you I'm sure you will have a great time.
Oh I recommend the train ride in the first few days as it gives you an insight into the area. It also stops right outside the hotel.
