General Comments
I've been with Norwich & Peterborough Building Society for 8 years now. I have a current account, business account, savings account plus two savings bonds. I use their internet service daily and this is the quickest I have experienced.
I can switch money between accounts and make payments at the flick of switch. So Convenient, especially as I travel abroad. I can view my accounts while I'm away and draw money out from overseas ATM's.
I visit the Ipswich branch about twice a week and never have to queue. All the staff are friendly and well informed about their products and efficient.
They also hold regional evenings for their regular customers at venues in the town. it's nice to actually be appreciated by your bank!
The only moan I have is it take 4 days for a cheque to clear-probably the same as most banks though

You said about evenings for customers - What do you mean as I have never heard of this before. Is it just for business account holders and a chance to network go is it open to all?
