Great styling, quality, reliability. 11 years old and looks new.
140bhp from a 4 cylinder engine means it's lighter on it's feet than the 320i.
Rear wheel drive = excellent handling and fun!
Cheap as chips now... just watch out for heavily modded ones which have been ragged. Say NO to rear Lexus style lights!
I now want the M3 version...
BMW servicing is expensive. Use good independents!
Careful in the wet - rear can slide on roundabouts etc! That's not actually a bad point :)
I love this car, it's changed my perception of what a car should feel like. Great fun on windy roads (RWD!) and eats up the motorways. Happily cruised from London to Scotland and back.
For me BMW = the ultimate driving machine!
