Good Points

Fuel economy up to 55mpg travelling at 70mph on motorway loaded. Averaging high 40's on long runs on A class roads. Very spacious family car, back seats may be removed to carry assortment of goods. Great acceleration with loads of power to spare. Easily pulls my 4 berth caravan within kerbweight restrictions (see bad points). My kids like the electric windows and I like having controls to open and usually shut them at my finger tips.


Bad Points

Relatively low kerbweight 1415kg restricts size of caravan we can haul safely/legally. Pity Renault don't offer a car between Scenic and Espace, which is just too big. Tyres needed renewing after only 20,000 miles.


General Comments

Have owned my Renault Scenic 1.9DCi car for 3.5 years from new. Thoroughly satisfied, best car I've driven in 30 years of motoring experience. Very spacious family car, back seats may be removed to carry assortment of goods. Great acceleration with loads of power to spare.
The very few niggles experienced were always quickly corrected by the excellent staff at Renault agent Pocklingtons of Louth. Highly recommended family car.

    I agree with you that the grand scenic is very good in all respects. I have the 2.0cdi, and would sum it up as capable in all areas, and the diesel engine is smooth and powerful, making the car a joy to drive.
