Engineering. Excellent flip up ammo apature. Power.
Mediocre accuracy. Noise
I owned an airsporter for many years. It was one of those put away guns that hardly saw light of day. However, if target shooting is your bag then go for it. Once used to the kickback (which is surprisingly big considering its engineering) this gun can perform. The power is all well and good but shots do tend to be erratic due to the kickback. From an engineering point of view its a classic BSA and its finish second to none.
My Sporter was the .177 version and I had many happy hours plinking with it on many occasions. Due to its age there was no fitting for a silencer and the gun practically useless for hunting. That said its a brilliant training gun.
