Spider-Man 3 Review

After waiting 2 years or more for this movie I wish they hadn't bothered. The only good things were the introduction of Venom and the effects used to portray him and the effects for the Sandman were not unreasonable.
But having gone to so much effort the failed to follow the original comic book stories which made the introduction of the Sandman and the back story a complete farce.

Script a bit dodgy, the replacement actor for Ben Parker was awful.

Bad CGI towards the end of the film eg Spidey with the US Flag background and part of the last fight scene (must have run out of money at this point).

Overall Spider-Man 3 is not a bad effort but far too lovey dovey and had the look of bypassing the quality dept to ensure a quick release date.

Worth a watch!!!! but may be unpalatable to a true Spidey Fan.

If they make another they really need to raise their game but I think perhaps its time to let it go for now and do the Superman thing ----- Wait 19 years and try again!!!!
