Good Points
Very well made and solid in construction. Nothing has come unsoldered or seized up in 9 years of playing. Beautiful tone, especially in the second and third octaves. Responsive. Good valves. Nickel silver outer slide legs and rose brass lead pipe. Lacquer holds up well but some wear in places of skin contact as expected.
Bad Points
Second valve slide had a tendency to blow out during fortissimo passages until I added a thin layer of silver solder to the longer inner leg to provide more grip.
General Comments
An all-round solid and reliable professional quality euphonium, beautifully made and finished. A gorgeous warm tone and a power to match. A pleasure to play.
