Easy parking and large choice of films.

Customer service - non existent. They advertise if you buy the gold tickets you get waited on and with this big lift in price I would expect at the very least, to be told where the screen is (the member of staff who took our tickets actually watched us walk in totally the wrong direction and didn't say a thing!) and not having to go hunting for 15 minutes to find someone to get your popcorn for you - we gave up and got it ourselves. The only advantage is a bigger seat - I don't think staff randomly asking who wants popcorn, written down on a scruffy bit of paper is worth the £15.
Picture seemed blurry - I get a much better picture quality from my HD LCD t.v.!

The service was abysmal or rather non existent - no drink bought to us, no food, not one member of staff offered us any assistance until less than five minutes before the film started when a very scruffy individual asked us if we wanted popcorn. Totally uncoordinated and poorly run. I also object to being ushered out the fire door once the film had finished - if they are open to that time I expect to go out the way I came in, not ushered out the rear like we were second class, in the way of staff who want to go home by a less than polite individual.
To be honest this has pretty much put me off the cinema for good and if I was convinced to go again Bluewater, not Lakeside, despite the extra twenty minute drive, would be my choice - great customer service, especially for the top tickets, with hot canapes and drinks at the bar, a friendly waiter service, escort to your seat and you get to leave by the main doors regardless of what time it is by staff who are happy to be there.
The fact that I was so let down by the whole experience that I have bothered, at 12 O'Clock in the morning, to find a website to air my disgust should tell you all you need to know!
