Bad Points
My advice is that you check that the Goodyear F1 GS-D3, you're buying are the German made ones!

General Comments
I had recently got a set of Goodyear eagle F1 GS-D3 tyres in Australia Melbourne (The size of the tyre is 205/45R16). I had read many reviews on the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 and purchased my tyres based on these great reviews. However after driving with them, the performance and feel of the tyre was not as good as they were all hyped up to be. After a bit of research, I heard these tyres have problems but only if they were made in Thailand. Unfortunately when I when came home and checked my tyres they were were made in Thailand.

Initially the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 were made in Germany, but over time more and more tyres were made in Thailand. The tyres made outside of Germany are totally different in respect to the materials they use to create the tyres, which explains the difference in performance!

I don' think it should have come down to "pot luck" as to whether or not I got a great set of Goodyear tyres made in Germany or a less good set made in Thailand! Considering these are "performance tyres" and I paid top dollar for them, I am bitterly disappointed with their performance.

I have since tried to contact Goodyear about this problem several times but to no avail.

I won't be buying Goodyear tyres ever again.
