When i recieved this RWS M94 rifle i hurried to open up the box and when i did i was very impressed. The gun felt durable and solidly built. I got my screwdriver and made sure all the screws were tight, which they were. I wiped off some excess lube from the factory and cleaned out the barrel for my first shot. The gun was pretty easy to cock, but could be tiresome after a few shots or so.
When i fired the gun the sights were almost on at 25 yards. I had shot at the fence board not expecting it to go through but it DID. I found out that the gun shoots 10gr. beeman kodiak pellets 3/4" into a 4x4 fence post. Thats a lot of power! The gun sounds a little loud when firing but it is more of a clunking sound as the piston flies down the chamber. After the break in period the sound will get a little quieter. Upon closer inspection later i found out that some of the plastic parts (sights, trigger, and trigger guard) had a few imperfections from the mold. I easily trimmed these off with my pocket knife. The gun is very accurate and seems very solid. It weighs about 8lbs and is very well balanced. The butt plate is a little rough rubber but i didnt mind. There were a couple scratches on the stock but this was from shipping i suspect. It was shipped in a small box through ups. Most write about a small manual but i think it provides the basic facts one needs to opperate the gun. If this gun was lost or stolen i would definately buy another one.
