Mostly Steel made to last. A nice trigger and not hard to use. No problems with it.
A smooth bore barrel. A rifled barrel would have made the PPK even more accurate.
There seems to be a lot of 'problems' with PPK's that some of the reviewers here own. I can only put that down to manufacturing problems their PPK's have had. The PPK I have has not caused me any of the problems I have heard or read about. I started using copper headed BB's in the PPK and they seem to have increased the PPK's velocity more than when I use the steel BB's. Even though, it is a powerful Pistol to own and should be handled carefully. It will never be as accurate as a Gamo Compact or any Pistol intended for Match Target Shooting and I could not expect it to be. But it is fun to use and in a safe place I use it for some target practice on regular Pistol targets. The more I use the PPK the better I am with it.
