Was able to book a hostel online at the last minute.
Bad Points
They offer no guarantee of their hostels, its a booking service not a selection agency. Do not trust their ratings.
General Comments
I booked a hostel through hostelworld, a hostel with a very good rating. After going to the hostel to find it to be awful in many ways, I looked forward to submitting my review and preventing others from being misled into going. When it was time to rate my hostel, I went to the website to find it has already been rated, presumably by the hostel owner himself, whom I often caught filling in forms on the hostelclub website from his PC. Indeed, many fellow backpackers were bewildered when they arrived at the dump of a hostel, realising they had been duped too. I wrote to hostelsclub to ask for a chance to write my review. They have not replied. I am very angry with this company as the reviews are the only indication of the quality of a hostel, and their system for rating this is not integral at all, I suspect this is the reason why a hostel as terrible as mine could have such a high rating in the first place.

I agree with this review because I put on a negative review on this site that appeared only for a few hours and then it was taken out. I also mailed them about this issue, but not yet got an answer it seems
