Hmmm - not many. They weren't rude to me and did get a lot of people to view my house.

General Comments

This is the reason I am writing this review because of how shocked I was about their actions. The first slightly annoying incident was when they came round on a Saturday morning to show people round my house without telling me first. I had to refuse to them entry because I had people round. I called them afterwards to say they should give me 24 hours notice. They never consistently did this. When I finally did get an offer they sent a surveyor round while I was on holiday without telling me. I was pretty annoyed as I have a lodger and thought this amounted to trespass. Anyway, the sale fell through, not because of any actions by Dixons. However, when they started showing people round again, they came round my house after leaving a voicemail on my mobile to say that they would. As I was at a concert I was not in a position to listen to the voicemail but they went away anyhow. Another incident in my view of trespass. I never told them they could go round anytime they wanted. When they did go round they scared my lodger who was asleep because of an early morning - she initially thought we were being burgled. I was outraged and telephoned to complain. The answer I was given was, "well you are not normally in on a Saturday". It was outrageous. I withdrew my house from their books immediately. I have read that in England we don't like Estate Agents because they intrude on our property and the English are house proud. But after trying to sell my house I think Estate Agents have clearly earnt their reputation through an inept and unprofessional service.
