Dr Ralph's review of RWS 34 Diana

★★★★★

“Buy one today... if you are contemplating a 1000 fps...”

Written on: 11/07/2007 by Dr Ralph (1 review written)

Good Points
I've had my 34 about fifteen years and have sent it back and had it rebuilt twice for free! It's more accurate than some of my .22's. I can hit blackbirds at 80 yards with this thing and have eliminated thousands, as well as hundreds of squirrels. I shoot it every day and it looks like it but it is more than I ever expected out of an air rifle

Bad Points
Heavy and hard to cock.

General Comments
Buy one today... if you are contemplating a 1000 fps pellet rifle you can find nothing that can compete with this German made wundergun! Accuracy is through the roof and that's about the only way to judge a gun. If you can shoot you can hit with this thing out to 80 yards. No joke... buy one today.

Is it bad to keep the gun loaded over a long period of time?

Lmci's Response to Dr Ralph's Review

Is it bad to keep the gun loaded over time? YES!!! Springers in a cocked position have tension on the spring, which will weaken it over time. Never leave it in the cocked position. And store it (stand it) barrel up so that any oil/lubricant settles around the piston seal and prevents it from drying out. Hope this helps,
