richb38's Review of Ben Sayers MX7 Irons

Good Points

Excellent value for money. Look and feel more expensive than the bargain price. Excellent irons. Recovery clubs save some difficult shots and easy to use than a 4 or 5 iron. Excellent double carry strap.

Bad Points

Head covers could be better. Bag ripped internally after one round but nothing major. Nothing else really, not the greatest putter as it has poor finish compared to rest of clubs but hey I'm not complaining

General Comments

Overall an excellent set of clubs for a novice like my self. Started of with a small selection of Dunlop clubs on pitch and putt/range. Took the plunge and bought the clubs and have only played one round on a proper course but scored 96 and was truly chuffed with how well my clubs performed. In particular the driver and the irons. Hitting consistently around 180-200yards which was more than enough for me. Irons were excellent and easy to use. Only iron i struggled with was SW. Club head feels too fat for type of shot its used for. Don't like putter but i have replaced that with a Ben Sayers M1 classic style heeltoe for £13 brand new (bargain) and added an M1 chipper (only £14). Will eventually replace my Dunlop lob wedge with a Ben Sayers M1 as I'm well impressed with the quality/price combo of all there products.
