Good Points

Spectacular scenery on the inside passage made the cruise a wonderful experience. I don't think you can appreciate the beauty of it any other way.

The service is excellent - everyone on board was always extremely pleasant and helpful.

The veranda room was very nice and we made use of the plush bathrobes to go to the indoor spa and sit on our veranda.

Bad Points

The land tour afterwards was generally not worth the money. We were one of three buses from the Celebrity ship on the same land tour - the buses stop at the same places at the same time making for long lines just to get an ice cream cone!

It was raining the day we drove six hours and we stopped for lunch (boxed) at a Veteran's Memorial where there was not enough cover from the rain for everyone!

Also the tours included in the land trip didn't seem worth it to us - we would have liked a little more free time.

General Comments

The Celebrity Cruises Summit ship is very nice, but a little worn. Alaska is beautiful and worth the trip. Celebrity's food was not as good or as well presented as Royal Caribbean's is. The service is excellent - everyone on board was always extremely pleasant and helpful.
