Can't think of a single one.
Extremely slow to respond. Lack of apology. Went back on their promise of recompense.
About 3 years ago I found my car tyres slashed outside a golf club, about 5pm. Four hours and several frustrating phone calls later, an small AA van turned up with - you guessed it - no spare tyres! Cue another phone call, which prompted the manager to state that due to my "unacceptably long wait" the AA would stand the cost of supplying and fitting new tyres. At 12.30am (yes, a 7 hour wait!) a transporter finally arrived to take me home. My new tyres were duly fitted at an AA-approved centre the next day but they told me that they had not received any undertaking from the AA about meeting the cost and so I had to stump up £180 myself. I wrote to the AA asking for them to honour their verbal commitment but of course they denied ever making it and instead offered me a further 6 months free membership. They had the gall to assume that I would want to stay with them after all that they had put me through!
