Fantastic!

We had read the poor reviews and were not too sure what to expect. Just keep an open mind. Like people have said, it is not our standard 5* hotel, its more a 3*. That does not mean that you will have a bad holiday.

We loved the food, the people, the atmosphere, the beach, the location... everything!

This holiday is ideal. You can either sit by the pool/on the beach and relax for your entire holiday or if you like to be kept busy there is lots to do. There are plenty of opportunities to get out and about. We went on a 2 day trip to the Sahara dessert-what an experience! We also went scuba diving, para-gliding, on a pirate ship, we had a few goes at archery etc etc.

The range of people was so wide, old people, young people, couples, families. Everybody seemed to be happy and having a lovely time.

There were a few signs of wear and tear but over all the hotel was clean, fresh and I did not feel like the odd mark on the wall or the bit of scruffy carpet made any difference to our holiday. Neither did the fact there was only 1 English speaking TV channel. (Which I read was a problem for some people!!)

Wine was quite expensive but the price of the food and other drinks means that its not such a big deal and you do not mind so much.

ALL staff were fantastic and really made a difference to our holiday. It is customary to tip everyone out there, they earn every penny. They were on the ball, polite, couldn't do enough for you. You have to admire their knowledge of other languages too, some speak up to 6 languages very very well.

I have written this review because I do not want people to be put off the bad reviews left by other people. We were so pleased we went, had the time of our lives! Just go there with an open mind (the culture is very different as you might expect) and do not expect a British standard 5* hotel.

We had such a great time out there that we will be going back.
