Good Points

Powerful
Accurate
Heavy
Full metal
Full auto
Extremely realistic

Bad Points

Hmm.. Bad points, At first, the BB's didn't cycle correctly on full auto. After two or three times of shooting, and some silicone lube, the problem is non existent. I guess it needed 30 or shots to "wear in."

General Comments

Just a little bit of info on this brand new gun! KWC Taurus PT99 full auto Co2

Looks-
I just received this gun yesterday in the mail from redwolf. Wow. This is by FAR the most sinister, authentic, and realistic airsoft handgun that I have ever seen. The finish is truly unreal and it is a work of art. The gun is FULL metal, finished in an awesome gun metal grey with full taurus trademarks laser engraved on the slide. I have sold airsoft guns for 5 years, and have handled just about every gun out there from WA to KSC and TM to CA. This one takes the cake as my favorite handgun with ease. Every one that has seen it so far says the same thing- "wow, that looks scary." Even the extended C02 magazine adds to the tactical look in my opinion, and does not really look out of place like it did on the KWC desert eagle CO2. It is a VERY heavy piece, and weighs in at about 3 lbs loaded. It listed at 2.9 lbs or 1309 grams from KWC, unloaded.

Function-
As with most of the new KWC guns, takedown completely mimicks the real steel. The gun takes Co2 in the magazine that is unscrewed with an allen wrench supplied with the gun. This is a much easier system than with the kwc co2 mini uzi. The magazine holds 39 rounds. Gun is semi-auto, or full-auto with blowback action. I did not adjust hop up because i did not receive a manual with my gun so I didn't want to tinker with it too much.

Performance-
Awesome! Very loud, metallic, and quick yet crisp recoil action. I could easily shoot soda cans from 30 feet away with .20g bbs every time. From this distance, the BB's penetrated both sides of the can with ease, every time. Very powerful. I probably wouldn't recommend this as a skirmish gun, because I feel it is a little hot, and could hurt someone. I would guess about 430+ FPS. I could also hit a 4.5 inch diameter tree EVERYTIME from 65 ft. To add a bit of fun, flip the switch down to FULL auto and rip away with a machine gun rat-tat-tat-tat. Great fun! Accurate, and intimidating. Not only that but, on my last use, it lasted 85 rounds on one Co2 cartridge!!! more than 2 full mags of alternating Full auto and semi auto shooting. The Co2 mini uzi only lasted up to at most 50 rounds, usually less.

Value- ABSOLUTELY unheard of value for this extremely high quality airsoft gun. I bought mine for US $94.99 from redwolf. Check out pics from there website. An absolute beauty of a gun, top shelf craftsmanship with no visible seams.

P.S. Who would have thought my two favorite airsoft guns of all time are both from KWC!! The Co2 Mini Uzi, and now the Taurus pt99 co2. By the way the uzi I feel has a little stronger recoil and shoots 500 FPS. According to tests by a Russian website, the original KWC mini uzi shot a max of 540.68 fps with .2g and a max of 443.7 FPS with .30g aluminum bbs. The finish on this Pt99 makes my uzi (which is a great replica) look more like a toy...

Overall I would easily give this gun a 9.5/10.
