Good Points

Easy read and realistic in accounting for the growth of the human population and taking over of planets. It allows one to withdraw from the world of today, yet conjecture about our common future.

Bad Points

Lots of spin-off novels, which can be considered a good or bad thing. The original is the classic work.

General Comments

Isaac Asimov, Foundation is a classic sci-fi novel, with descriptions that do not feel dated from the 1950's. It's an intriguing reflection on the future of humanity which is even relevant today due to population growth. A must read for sci-fi readers.
