Exceptional image quality when owner's manual is followed and camera's operation is understood by the user. Small, light, unobtrusive, relatively inexpensive, well made.
Bad Points
Has a well-known problem with false low battery warnings and sometimes premature shutoff. Must be used with NiMH rechargeable cells or CR-V3 lithium batteries. Only very short life alkaline cells are supplied with it. Auto-focus tends to be erratic in poor light, and tricked by bright points of light/reflections.
General Comments
This camera is identical in every respect to the Olympus C-350 as it is known in Europe, and the X-200 in Japan. So the reviews and photo of the C-350 at http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews5078.html are 100% applicable to the D-560. Check the Olympus websites if you don't believe me. :-)
