Small. Good in the hand. Have added different lenses to it no problem. Taken thousands of shots with it. It took me a bit of time to get use to it, bit like marriage but in the end you know her inside out. would be a good buy now for learning without a doubt.
Shutter speed and slow auto-focus. you can allow for this make you a better photographer in the end.
Would recommend the Finepix A304 to the first time buyer, but get it with its bits and bobs, look around should get a nice bundle with it. You will have hours of fun playing and adjusting contrast, night shots. You can get them really cheap second hand now. Excellent camera to learn with. (Jedi, you will become) Will be giving mine to my son to learn with. Its only pennies if he drops it. They are really cheap second hand now. 10/10 for value and its more fun than school.
