I bought my Peugeot 106 GTi for £2500 with 80,000 on the clock. At first it was brilliant, the speed and acceleration was incredible for a 1.6 litre. I found I was leaving some 2.0 litre cars for dead at lights but the fun soon faded away when the cambelt snapped and I was left stranded. After buying a new one I was happy again until the rest followed, my drive shaft snapped, my catalyst converter on the exhaust broke, my clutch went, I'm forever changing bulbs and the most annoying thing of all the sunroof leaks (theres more but I wont go into them). The sunroof doesn't sound like a big problem but nobody wants to know when you ask about getting it fixed. I paid 100 pounds to have it repaired but it still leaks to this day. So far I've spent over £1500 on just fixing it, so my advice for buying this car is you better have a lot of money to burn.
