Very quick for engine size, plenty of room in hatch for dogs wine etc. Regularly went to France and back with 30x6 bottle cases with rear seats down, cruises all day on Autobahn at 100-110 mph and ours is automatic. Quite economical too, not unusual to get 40 plus on a run without hanging about. I would not knock the Renault that I have owned. I've had no issues at all. But time to move on to a Rover 75 estate now.
Being a DIY mechanic, some of the engine areas are fiddly to do, power steering pump and alternator for example. But having serviced mine, parts are reasonably priced and new cambelt kit plus fitting was only £170, all in.
