Easy to set up.
The privacy settings (main part of program) don't work with Panter OS, leaving your kids potentially open to bad websites.
Hard to get rid off when you want to uninstall!
Initially all went well, set up of Norton Internet Security 3.0 for Mac was easy and didn't take me long. But after this the trouble began. I set the Parental Controls (to filter unsuitable sites for my kids). When I tested it, to see whether they worked, I found that they didn't! I'd say it blocked about 80% of the sites that it should, but, I don't think that the remaining 20% is anywhere near safe enough! When I looked into this I found that it is mainly because I use Panther as my O/S and I found other people have similar problems.
Also the anti virus part kept giving me error messages. I just got too annoyed with it and combined with the failing parental controls, I decided to remove this program and use something else. But to actually get rid of everything is not that easy. I found it leaves bit behind everywhere. After some 'research' I used a program called 'Spotlight' (keyword: Norton) to list all the bits this program leaves behind, you can then manually delete the whole lot. Bad experience with Norton, just doesn't seem to like Apple!
