Good Points

Excellent location, lovely swimming pool. Just off the main street but not too far either. Great to have the airconditioning in the rooms. Not many British in resort due to Greeks using it has a holiday place, as well as the Czechs, Italians and Germans. Not much Sky or any English bars and restaurants, very minimal which is great, because you really get the feeling your away from all of home. Which is what you want; not to have pubs and restaurants with Sky and English soaps on all the time like in you get in other resorts (i.e Sidari or Kavos).


Bad Points

The cleaner only visited us twice, yet was displayed as 'daily' on the notice board. I sat on my balcony and watched people in their nightwear at 6.00am putting the towels onto the sunbeds. Not enough sunbeds for the whole complex.


General Comments

We had the most fantastic time just recently at the Acharavi Sun apartments. The weather was very hot. Gardens watered everyday and the swimming pool kept immaculate. We ate at the restaurant opposite the Pumphouse - The Oddessyus. Fantastic food and the staff are very helpful in explaining the dishes. We tried the Big Meze - 12 dishes for €15 - very nice.
The best beach was to your right of the Pumphouse, by the Acharavi Beach hotel - the sea has been just like a warm bath whilst we were there.
We are definately booking direct with Sun Apartments next year cutting out the middle man and doing it ourselves. If you want a really laid back holiday with not much to do but to chill out, then this is the place to go. Castaway Travel do really good cheap tours if you feel like a bit of exploring, or you can walk along the beach to Roda.
