Great accuracy and Awesome power for the first few shots
Not worth the trouble and hastle of owning one these day
I originally purchased a Beeman SS1000 1064 Combo. The Beeman scope needed so much elevation and windage change it shattered the lens inside.
I eagerly exchanged that one for a Beeman SS1000 1068. This is supposed to be the flagship of the new Beeman series, but after 2 weeks or about 1000 pellets the barrel actually came loose from the receiver! It was the most powerful and accurate pellet rifle I had in a long time (and the chrome satin barrel was beautiful) so took it back to the store for another exchange. Same thing, the barrel came loose again after only 2 shot.
Wondering what in the world was going on I went to research what was going on, and it would seem that Beeman has all its rifles machined and assembled in china these days. However I believe some of the high end models ($500 and up) are made in Spain, however I am not going to be taking my chances anymore
