Good Points

Obvious good point is the strong sound and great design. Compared some older iPods I've seen around this 5th generation model is nice and slim, weighs next to nothing and is just an excellent size: not too small so you feel like you've got a Kellogg's Cereal box freebie and not too big so you feel like you're a gadget wannabe with the dated stuff in hand!


Bad Points

Bit disappointed with the battery life, but must say that when I stop fiddling all the time the battery life really increases. Using it with iTunes and making full use of playlists is definitely a must when needing the iPod for longer periods of time (travelling etc.)


General Comments

Slated by many, the iPod just remains the king of all MP3 players. It's design and sound quality really make me a happy chappy and once you get over the initial obsession of changing tracks and scrolling through your music list the battery life isn't all that bad. Videos kill your battery however! I can't imagine watching a full feature movie on an iPod anyway, but I seriously wonder whether the battery would last a full movie for a start!
