Bad Points

They served Spaghetti Bolognese every day lunch and dinner and it was not very nice.

General Comments

We have just come back from a 9 day holiday with our 2 children. I was a little worried after reading the reports that we were not going to enjoy our holiday but I have found the Aquamarine Beach Club to be a very nice place to stay. There are two hotels, the Aquamarine and the Adriana and we have access to the bars, restaurants, shops, pools and amenities at both reports. The food was sometimes a bit samey but with 3 restaurants to choose from there was not a day that any of us went hungry with choices from fish, meat, pasta and salads, and there was even things my picky kids would eat. The night entertainment was OK, not the best I have seen but the kids enjoyed the disco which was every night before the adult entertainment started. What we tended to do was sit around the bar (which was open until 11) and have a nice drink with the friend we have made there. We did on 2 occasion go to the local towns of Albufeira and Vilamoura which were a short drive away. Also the hotel lays free buses to the local towns and amusements parks. Once down the many steps on to the beach (93 in total) the beach was lovely with plenty of room and free sun beds. A short walk up the beach was Vilamoura. It took us about 20 - 25 minutes to walk. The resort was lovely to walk around and has been landscaped and well maintained. All in all I would give this place the thumbs up and the best judge of this is the children and they have ask to go back again, this was their best holiday so far.
