Good Points

Accepts and plays a multitude of DVD disc types. Looks nice. Easy to connect up and tune in.


Bad Points

Fan is extremely irritating and noisy above sound of the TV! Also it has a mind of its own when switching on. We have to keep switching off at wall socket when starting otherwise it loses all station memory and displays bad signal. Occasionally freezes up. Takes ages to boot up from power on (a good 3 minutes) which is poor. We have missed starting a recording because of these annoying issues. It is not easy to use when recording as always goes to minimum DVD record time by default so have lost recordings due not enough disc left. It's not easy to get it into EP mode. It is more sensitive to signal than old Philips set to box and there are several stations it will not find that we had before.


General Comments

Bought This Daewoo DRT10 from Currys. Sadly they would not demo the unit, just had it on display and sold it to me on the added features. They had very little else on offer and none of them in working mode. We really wanted Panasonic but it seems they dictate what they wish to clear stock wise by limiting choices. We are still unable to get a Panasonic replacement as they have not put any into all 8 of our local stores!
