Good Points

Visits to the Karma Spa or the Gym are well worth it. The staff are friendly, approachable, the service is good with a wide range of treatments and the prices are not too bad.

Some of the shows in the Marquee and the Freedom to Move aerialists are pretty awesome to watch. Also the aerialists are probably some of the most approachable people on board!

For eating, it is worth booking at La Luna or spending time there for lunch - the food is good quality and the service is exceptional. Also, a visit it the Bistro has to be done at least once! I think it gives good value for money and the food is pretty good too.

Bad Points

Value for Money! The excursions were over priced, the drinks generally appeared expensive, the shuttle service from port to the location was pretty hefty - in my view this should have been part of the service paid for up front!

The general entertainment was pretty low, there were some good shows, but most well Butlins springs to mind.

And the major point! Advertising Excursions as being quickly booked up on the website but in reality one which we were looking forward to (even considering the price) was canceled do to lack of numbers! That made for a big disappointment and only on day two!

General Comments

All in all, I found that there were some good points and some bad points but there weren't enough good points to override the not so good.

A lot of it came down to small details that can on their own be over looked, however there were so many of them it becomes hard to do so.

In my view this had the potential to be a really good holiday, however it turned out to be just alright. Which considering how much we paid, I feel a little cheated.

It didn't help to have this followed up by the feeling that a "Hard sell" approach was being given to Drinks, Excursions, and getting the Shuttle into your Port destination - being docked 45 minutes away wasn't too much trouble for us to walk but lets say that the majority of the people on board didn't match the expected adrenaline seeking junkies that the Ocean Village DVD portrays.

Saying that, we made the best of it and had a good time none the less - some of the ports of call are just outstanding! Oh, do them yourself it is more rewarding on many levels.
