Good Points

Cheap as chips. Both outbound and return flights arrived ahead of time. Staff were friendly and were helpful towards passengers with children. Plane didn't crash.


Bad Points

Not much legroom, but certainly a lot better than I'd been expecting (I'm 6'5" and 95kg) and was endurable for seven hours (and I can never sleep, either!). The food wasn't the best - I'm a vegetarian and I was definitely happy not to have to eat the "meat product" that was served to my neighbours, and would recommend you sign up as a vegetarian even if you aren't!


General Comments

Some of the previous comments are a bit unfair on Air Transat. I would have thought that the price of the ticket would have left no-one in doubt that this is a budget airline and not to expect a "full service" experience as you'd get with Air Canada or BA.

Given the price of the ticket, the value for money and overall ratings are difficult to fault, and the good points (see above) definitely outweigh the bad points if your willing or have to suffer a bit of discomfort to save a few hundred quid.
