My little boy went for his birthday and loved it and asks to go back there every day,the package deal cost £290 including hotel for 2 nights was very good too. Legoland was a lovely clean place, and better then any of the other places I've been (Flamingoland, Alton Towers) and their shows were really good.
Were do I start? prices are really really out of control my and my partner have really good jobs and money is not a problem but it was still very costly, for instance 2 cheese burgers 2 fries 1 portion of onion rings and a childs meal chicken nuggets and fries and a colouring book £29.45 and that was without any drink you couldn't even get near a table to sit down and eat so we sat on the floor also a coke from a stall costs £4 for a regular size also if possible avoid the Lego Shop my little boy bought a sword and helmet and some Lego what u built in to a fire engine ........wait for it - £57.50.
Secondly rides: I have grown up going to all the theme parks in Britain and have never had to queue for 45 mins for any ride mind in Legoland the question are 45 mins to an 1hr 20 mins for each ride which the rides only take 3-4 mins each all we seemed to do is queue. Remember to take trainers as it all up and down hill.
I learned that the first day was really really pricey so the second day we avoided it by finding a Waitrose and buying sandwiches crisps and pop and taking them in and sitting on the floor and have a picnic at the end of that day I took my little boy to Woolworths in Windsor and bought him a large box of Lego £9.99 instead of £29.99 what they were charging in legoland itself.
Time to stop moaning and talk about the good points I thought it was really good you have to be quiet active I feel sorry for mothers and fathers with pushchairs, it looked a nightmare for them. Lego Land also have very good staff trained on height restrictions for children and are very friendly. I got quiet bored of my partner taking 100000000 pictures of the mini world at Legoland! I would go back to Legoland now I know to avoid eating there and i advise u all if u have a large family to take a picnic i don't mind spending money on nice food but there food was horrible and for £29.45 for 2 burger meals and a happy meal was taking the biscuit if you know what I mean, but I would definitely go back.
