General Comments

Bought the EMP-TW10H LCD Epson Projector just over a year ago and it has done great service. Easy to set up and use, good manual, great pictures. The EMP-TWP produces huge pictures across only small distances, which is great for the small home cinema room. This means you can easily fill nearly a whole wall with wide screen images.
The machine also has a number of different inputs which means sadly the children have been able to link up the PS2 as well and have spent a lot of time impressing their friends with large scale computer games.
Colours are really good and with a simple DVD surround sound source, you can get a great cinema feel for under £500. I project on to a flat white wall which may not do for the purists but I find it works really well and means you can go for large pictures without spending a tidy sum on an otherwise relatively small screen. I reckon mine comes out at 2.9 meters wide by 1.6 meters high, projected over 3.2 meters distance.
I did not go for a ceiling mount but built a simple shelf and used the stick on feet provided with the projector to turn it up side down, rather than project from the floor.
Luminosity is not high so it needs a fairly well darkened room to make the most of the light generated. That said I have seen projectors much higher rated output that do little better for the extra money.
