Car was clean.
Very unfriendly staff.
In the Netherlands I hired and paid for a luxury car for our trip to the US at Alamo.nl, San Francisco, Orlando and Los Angeles. In San Francisco and Orlando nothing went wrong, we choose from the line of Luxury and we took the Chrysler HEMI 300. When we arrived at Los Angeles the trouble started. We only got a Cadillac CTS which is similar to a Buick Le Sabre they rent this type as a premium, they must fit 4 suitcases and 5 persons in that car, there only fits one suitcase of 62 cm in the back and 4 persons. When I made a complained to the manager he told me that the CTS is similar to a Cadillac DTS as they promised at reservation, so when I wanted to have the Chrysler HEMI 300 or similar I had to pay $350 extra above I already have payed for the luxury car when I made the reservation. At last the employee told me I can have the car for $250 extra for the 10 days, because we were tired from the flight and we had to drive for more then one hour to go to the hotel and this also took more then one hour I took the Chrysler and paid extra. When I was at home I send an email to Alamo customer service, and they replied to me that is was correct because of the high turnover of the fleet that this is the luxury and the Chrysler HEMI 300 is an luxury specialty and that Alamo San Francisco and Orlando have given me a free upgrade. This is silly because we chose from the line and know one told us that we took this car as a free upgrade, at Alamo you don't reserve the car, when you arrive you can choose from the line of type you rented.
