Attractive menu, easy to use and navigate. That is of course when it works which is most often not the case.
Full of bugs, system often freezes, causes instability with Windows Vista programs, their web sight has a support section "Ask Roxie" which is a helpful as a missing track on a battle tank. In fact it made me get so angry that it caused a well adjusted man to scream at a computer screen. Tech support has been hit and miss so far. A couple people have been helpful but have still not solved the problems. The first tech I spoke with actually hung up on me.
I have spent about 17 hours trying to resolve the issues, along the way I have been able to burn two DVD's and have wasted 22 double layer disc's testing their recommended repairs. Why so many repairs on something that is brand new?
So far I have only had problems with burning, I have not had a chance to use the other features since I still have not resolved the first issue. I am hoping a solution is near or I will be dumping this lemon and going with the new edition of Nero 7. From what I have read this system has compatibility issues with Windows Vista. Roxio claims Media Creator 9 is certified for Windows Vista. Well I think Mircosoft and Roxio ought to get on the same page before they give their blessings to the birth of this tripe.
I am even more disappointed in Dell for loading this rubbish on my system.
To sum this up I have used numerous Microsoft and Dell products and have had very few issues and when they happened they were resolved quickly and easily. I would urge Dell to dump Roxio and go with a company that will provide a quality product to their customers. I just spent a thousand dollars on my new dell computer so I could waste fifty dollars in discs testing their repairs.
Not Happy!!
