Good Points

The fish is mainly fresh, and it's a good size. The chips are home made and lovely, and the wait for food is generally not too long.


Bad Points

The restaurant is sometimes cold. There isn't enough seating in the bar, and they struggle with large parties - chips and drinks are often forgotten and come in dribs and drabs. There is only one toilet, which is cold and often doesn't flush.


General Comments

The phone will ring and ring before you get a reply, then sometimes you get hung up on if they are busy. You have to book at the Swan Inn in Barnby 4 - 6 weeks in advance for weekends, and they like to tell you that as well.
